This painting is very special to me as I believe God guided my hand through every stroke.
I was going through a very challenging time. Feeling lost, not knowing where to go for help. More than ever before in my life, I longed for a hand to hold and reassure me that everything was going to be okay.
I took out a canvas and started painting without thinking.. I had no idea of what I was doing but somehow had no hesitation holding me back. Colours, shapes, strokes were coming to me like nothing I had ever experienced before. It wasn't long before I realized God was holding my hand.
My heart was filled with an indescribable joy and feeling of found identity. I painted this picture of Jesus holding my sweet daughter Heidi but when I finished it, I understood that I was the one my saviour was carrying in that moment.
